This exhibition displays the work of internationally renowned documentary photographer Frederik Buyckx. During his journey through desolate mountain landscapes, he discovered places where man still lives in symbiosis with nature. He sought out the tension between this overwhelming beauty and danger.

Surrounded by the dazzling splendour of these landscapes, he learned how to deal with the fear that the harsh conditions and the powers of nature may instil. His photographs reflect what he discovered during his personal quest in remote areas, as well as the inner peace and sense of well-being he experienced during the simple life he lived there.

Tip: the exhibition features a tour tailored to children.
