Ghent’s parks are little play paradises for children. Running around surrounded by greenery is already a fun experience in itself, but most parks also have a small – or larger – playground.
The largest playground in Ghent is the one at the Blaarmeersen Sports and Recreation Park, which also has an adventure forest. There are plenty of other playgrounds with safe swings, slides and climbing frames in the other green areas around the city. And there are even skate parks for the older kids.
