Boat trips on Ghent's inland waterways

You can choose from five boating companies to discover Ghent along its waterways. The traditional boat tour is available every day. For theme tours, we kindly ask you to contact the boating companies in advance. Your captain will also be your guide. During the boat tour, he will gladly share his knowledge with his passengers, naturally in various languages.

Price: from € 6.50 (adults) / from € 3.50 (-12 years).

De Bootjes van Gent

A boat trip with ”De Bootjes van Gent” gives you the opportunity to get to know the historical heart of the city. The thematic trips will let you gain an insight the city’s folklore. Groups can even have a meal Fromring the trip.

Ghent Water Tourist

An historic round-trip, a relaxing glass on the champagne boat or ebullient ambiance on the party boat, it’s all possible. Groups can combine a boat trip with a guided tour or even with a ride on an old 1971 tram.
