Ghent has its own jenever mojito

A Ghent mojito would of course have to contain jenever, or gin. Mojitos are traditionally made with rum, but Ghent-based gin manufacturer Peterman has recently brought out a ready-made gin-based mojito. Gento, as the cocktail is called, contains all the ingredients of a mojito and only needs to be finished off with crushed ice, a sprig of mint and a slice of lemon. Those who prefer a drier taste can dilute Gento with soda water.
