In the Ghent University Botanical Garden you will find more than 10,000 different plant species! In this garden of 2.75 hectares stand 4000 square metres of greenhouses. The pond, the arboretum, the palm house, the succulent greenhouse, the Victorian greenhouse, and of course the kitchen garden with its surprising collection of vegetables are all worthy of a visit.
Children and youngsters can enjoy themselves in the world of Kina: the Garden. A visit to the beehive, an intimate chat with a tarantula or a good talk with a weeping birch; it’s all possible. And do you have any idea how many different sorts of bread exist in the world?
