Parks

Baudelopark

The town council would like even more greenery in the city. Near St James’ Church, an entire street has been ‘sacrificed’ to this effect. Bibliotheekstraat was grassed over to make the Baudelopark bigger and more enjoyable.

Citadel Park

Once you have enjoyed the classic or modern art in the MSK and/or the SMAK, you can take in some fresh air in the neighbouring Citadel Park. Children can frolic in and around the bandstand or discover the playground in the park. Next to the pond with its beautiful waterfall, exhale deeply, before strolling back to the city centre via Sint-Pietersplein.
