Sports and romance hand in hand

Good news for sports fanatics with a romantic disposition – or for romantic souls with an athletic touch. 'Romantic Paddling' is an initiative that combines both, and – as a bonus – helps you to experience Ghent from yet another side: by canoe!
The two of you can enjoy a tour on the city centre’s waterways in a Canadian canoe with both a helmsman and a snack and a glass of sparkling wine at your fingertips. Because of the higher degree of romance involved, it is recommended that these trips be experienced during the evening, but other time schedules can also be arranged. Similar initiatives are available for groups using Viking canoes or rafts.
The price for a basic arrangement, including sparkling wine and a snack: € 35.00 for 2.
A VIP arrangement with real champagne and smoked salmon or oysters costs an additional € 15.00 per person.
